SPETSKOMPLEKT LTD, representation in a tax dispute

Onopenko & Partners law firm has successfully protected the interests of SPETSKOMPLEKT LTD (Ukrainian company specializing in tailoring camouflage and security guard uniforms and manufacturing protective devices) in a dispute with tax authorities related to violations of the Ukrainian tax laws with respect to the payment of the value added and corporate profit taxes, for which additional tax liabilities and penalties were charged to the Client for the total amount of UAH 8.5 mln.

Onopenko & Partners’ team represented the Client before the Cassation Administrative Court within the Supreme Court who, based on results of its review of the case, set aside the decision of the appellate instance court and upheld the decision of the first instance court that cancelled the tax notification decisions by which the additional tax liabilities and penalties were charged to the Client.
