Protecting interests of the Head of the State Reserve Agency of Ukraine
Project Partner: Petro Onopenko
Project team: Igor Garkavyi
In view of the notice of suspicion served on the Head of the State Reserve Agency of Ukraine, Kyiv public prosecutor’s office asked the court to grant such measure of restraint against him as home arrest and suspend him from office. Attorneys of Onopenko & Partners brought to notice of the court that the suspicion was unreasonable, and the risks referred to by the prosecution to justify the need to grant such a severe measure of restraint and to suspend the Client from office were not proven.
As a result of the tactics correctly chosen by the defence, the court ordered the Client to assume a personal obligation as measure of restraint and refused suspending him from office.
