Defending a spouse in a dispute related to the division of marital property

The project team defended a former spouse in a dispute related to the division of marital property.

In order to protect interests of the Client, the firm lawyers filed a claim for establishing the joint residence and division of marital property. This case was about such disputed property as a high-end mansion and land plot, apartment in the capital city’s downtown area and a luxury vehicle. The opponent tried to prove that all of the disputed property was purchased at the expense of the opponent’s personal funds after the spouses no longer maintained common household, confirming the same with a court decision dissolving the marriage.

However, in view of a correctly elaborated legal position and based on the evidence collected, the court sustained the Client’s claim in full, having established the spouses lived together and each of them was entitled to ½ share in their entire property.
